Saline and Sodic Soil Treatment
Salt-eX is a powerful osmotic regulator and will relieve the pressures on turf associated with accumulating salts, sodium and bicarbonates, without harming the soil’s beneficial microbes.
Salt-eX’s unique formulation releases insoluble calcium and other nutrients already in the soil while removing undesirable salts.
Salt-eX reverses the effects of poor quality water on soil by flocculating a poor soil structure, increasing water infiltration, improving nutrient availability, and aiding the turf ’s ability to uptake water.
Independent studies of saline and sodic soils have shown that Salt-eX increases the availability of calcium, magnesium, potassium, and phosphorus (both Bray 1 and Bray 2) while dramatically reducing sodium levels, soluble salts, and
bicarbonates.
COMPOSITION
Salt-eX is a complexed blend of organic acids, calcium derivatives and surfactants that will assist in the removal of harmful salts from within the soil profile.
Active Ingredients:
A proprietary blend of organic acid, calcium based derivatives and polyoxyalkalene glycols.
APPLICATION RATES
Golf and General Turf
Maintenance: Apply 10 to 20 L/ha in 800 L.
Repeat at 30 day intervals, or as needed for specific sodium reduction needs.
Curative: Apply 20 to 40 L/ha in 800 L water.
Begin maintenance program 30 days after curative application.
For optimal product effectiveness, Salt-eX should be watered in.
DO NOT combine Salt-eX in the spray tank with other products unless prior use has shown the combination physically compatible, effective and non-injurious under local conditions.
